King P-Nut Frisco Gas Tank - 2.4 Gallon for 1986-2003 Harley Sportster

The King P-Nut gas tank is unique in that it allows full use of the fuel because of the left-side, 1/4 inch NPT petcock bung and the small gas filler moved up high on the tank. Being that this is a Frisco mount gas tank it sits high up on the backbone of your frame. If your filler cap is back too far, you can't fill the tank to the top without it spilling out.

The King P-Nut was also designed to simply bolt-on to 1986-2003 H-D Sportsters using Lowbrow Gas Tank Adapter Brackets. No welding, drilling, or modification necessary! This gas tank was designed for universal use as it can be mounted on any other motorcycle frame with basic fabrication techniques, such as welding some threaded tophat bungs into the backbone of your motorcycle frame.

Note: It is highly recommended to fit your Sportster gas tank to your bike before painting. Check for clearance or mounting issues as different combinations of triple trees, risers, and handlebars may cause clearance issues when turning.

Tanks are pressure tested but it is highly recommended that you or your painter pressure test it again before painting; it's cheap insurance!
